Business Now is a small team. Our advisers sit with founders who are tired, behind on admin, and often a bit embarrassed about it. The people who do well here are calm in that room. They listen first, write things down clearly, and never make an owner feel stupid for not knowing what a VAT201 is.

• You write tidy follow-up notes on the same day, not next week
• You are happy in Sandton one day and on a video call with a Durban spaza owner the next
• You know when to say "that is one for your accountant" and stop
• You like checklists more than slide decks

Roles we hire for

Most openings are for advisers attached to one of our regional offices, usually with a focus area such as tax calendars, first hires, brand and digital, or export paperwork. Now and then we look for a writer to help turn adviser notes into briefings and resources, and for an operations person to keep bookings and packs moving out of Sandton.

We do not post every role on job boards. Some of our best people found us by using a toolkit tile in their own business first, then emailing to say what they would change. That kind of note gets read.

How to apply

Send a short email to sales@businessnow.co.za with Careers in the subject. Tell us which city you are in, which area you know best, and one small business problem you helped someone solve, in a few lines. Attach a CV if you have one ready. There is no online form and no psychometric test at the first step.

We reply to every application, even when the answer is not now. If there is a fit, the next step is a paid half-day where you sit in on an Advisory Hour and write the follow-up note yourself. It shows both sides very quickly whether the work suits you.
